As an avid viewer of this tiktok series, it's delightful to listen to the beginning of Lily, Bel, and Sharkie's story. It does feel a little like I know a secret though, having watched so many episodes because I know the limits/end point of certain plot points already. But it is wonderful to meet even more characters within this universe and see more than the often limited scope of the series.

As a fan of the Hell’s Belles series on TikTok, I thoroughly enjoyed this glimpse into Lily’s (and Sharkie’s/Bel’s) life before the series began. Jaysea Lynn does an outstanding job of creating scenes that make you laugh, cry, blush, and everything in between.

Following Lily’s journey through the Afterlife and watching how the other characters I’ve grown to know and love on TikTok fit into the narrative was fantastic. I truly struggled to put this book down and focus on real life, because the story and descriptions felt so real. The struggles are relatable, the celebrations are just familiar enough, and I loved the little Easter egg at the very end (again, especially as someone who follows the series!)

This book broke me, sent me on an emotional rollercoaster and then healed me in the sweetest way. It triggered some serious self reflection on my own trauma and what I’ve been holding onto without realising it. I would highly recommend those that struggle with religious trauma or any of the topics this book holds to pace yourself and allow yourself some time to process those feelings however you see fit. Personally I cried my eyes out multiple times and sent my wife into a panic until she located some tissues.

Also THE healthiest and realist relationship between two people I’ve ever read. Even if one of them has horns and a tail.
The humour is top tier nerd coded and I appreciated every single pun and LOTR reference. I was most definitely snorting a laugh!

This is the most impactful book I have read in a long time, if ever. And I’m so truly grateful for it. Thank you Jaysea not only for being the creator of my favourite TT series but also for pouring your own heart and soul into this story. It’s incredible, profound and beautiful. I just wish I could read it again for the first time!

I already knew these characters from Jaysea's TikTok series Hell's Belles but I really loved getting to see how it all started. Hell's depiction is refreshing as it isn't just flames and torture, it's justice. Some souls aren't bad but need a little help so lvl 1 & 2 are the therapy levels. Lvls 1-5, you have chance to work on yourself, earn the right to reincarnate, and live a better life to earn your paradise.

Lily earned her paradise and was exploring the other realms when she decided to visit Hell & saw the souls giving the demons at the gate trouble so she stepped in to help thus the Hellp (pun intended) Desk was formed.

You do not need to be familiar with the series to enjoy this book. There's references and easter eggs if you are but it doesn't distract from the story if you aren't. The world building is fantastic and it doesn't feel like info dumping. I love these characters & can't wait for the remaining books in this trilogy to be written.
