Lily earned her paradise and was exploring the other realms when she decided to visit Hell & saw the souls giving the demons at the gate trouble so she stepped in to help thus the Hellp (pun intended) Desk was formed.
You do not need to be familiar with the series to enjoy this book. There's references and easter eggs if you are but it doesn't distract from the story if you aren't. The world building is fantastic and it doesn't feel like info dumping. I love these characters & can't wait for the remaining books in this trilogy to be written.

Lily, is delightfully relatable and a spirited heroine whose journey is as entertaining as it is poignant. Jaysea Lynn's world building brings every scene to life, making it easy to get lost in the vivid world she’s created.
Fans of romantic comedies and feel-good fiction will find so much to love here. I laughed, I cried, I couldn't put the book down.
If you’re in the mood for a story that will warm your heart while keeping a smile on your face, For Whom the Belle Tolls is a must-read. Jaysea Lynn has penned a true masterpiece, and I can’t wait to see what she writes next!

Did I cry? Obviously, really within the first 3 chapters, be aware keep a box of tissue close by.
Did I laugh? Also within the firsts chapters.
Was our beloved characters present? Fuck yeah! And even some additional ones for whom to also fall in love with!
Could I predict the plot at any given time? Not really. And this is saying as a person who had bing watch a few times all 500-ish episodes of Hell Belles!
I had some basic knowledge of what to expect, other than the world building, set up of said world, some characters, and yet, it was as if I was meeting all for the first time - in a fresh way of presenting the history, but bringing and in addition to keeping the essence of the TikTok show. Is all here in the pages: the witty humor, heart wrenching situations, good banter, awesome characters, the competitive streak!
Even ‘knowing’ the story, I was kicking my feet in excitement for the each and new road the characters had embark on - I was cheering with them, crying, giggling and all in between as well.
And it was a journey! A fantastic one, full of valleys, great scenery, grand conversations and a party or two.
The development of the characters are very much believable, we see the struggles and the support given and received…
It’s not in the least a ‘light’ reading, because some of the topics are somewhat cumbersome, albeit it has heavy doses of romance and comic relief in it, yet worth it, every line, page and chapter!
One of the best books I’ve read in a long while. 10/10 recommend. Cannot sing prazes enough.

This book has so much to give with a healthy relationship between the main characters, a big found family vibe, a great array of diverse side characters.
This book is also for all those who have worked in customer service and wished we could say what we really wanted to when we got a shitty customer.

The book itself is a pretty easy read with not a whole lot of conflict in it. This is definitely a character study. We’re focused on Lily and how, after death, she really comes into her own. There is a slight Mary Sue aspect to our main character but not anything that’s super distracting from the story. I think where it lost some stars for me is that it was a lot of telling rather than showing and it seemed like every “problem” that our main character faced it was barely an inconvenience to overcome. She always seemed to have the right thing to say and to make the right decision and to do the right thing and it all seemed very…easy.
That being said, I did really enjoy reading it and I will be picking up future books that I hope she’ll be writing.

This was a deeply tragic book for me to read, but in a way that was healing and warm. I cannot wait even one more day for the next book.
