I know it took me a bit to get through this (darn trying to fight a reading slump!). But holy heck was it worth it! This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year. And I'm glad I read it. If you've read this you'll know (especially if you already know the characters from Jayseas tiktok series Hells Belles). But this made me cry multiple times, first time being just under 200 pages. The other times were throughout the book, and nearly at the end if it. This one will stick with me for a while.

Very hard for me to give a book 5 star rating but this book surprised me, completely different to anything ive read before. It involves a healthy relationship, understanding and patience. Not much of a plot and I'm more a plot driven reader and this book was very character driven, and I loved every second of it. Very emotional read, it was good to find a relatable FMC. It brought me a lot of hope.

As a fan of the TikTok series, I was already highly anticipating this book. What I didn't expect was the emotions it brought up as someone with religious trauma, and how healing it was to imagine death as something non-linear and with no required afterlife, but what you make of death for yourself.
