This book was well worth the wait. Despite knowing how certain things were going to go, it still struck so many emotional cords. Many laughs and happy tears as well as tears for the more dour moments. It’s a fun read with or without knowing the series on TikTok. Jaysea did a wonderful job!

Ummm are cozy fantasy genres.. even this cozy romantasy need to be THIS long?
I understand that the world needs to be built.
But as one review in GR said, the FMC felt like super pick me. Like really, no other soul have the same feelings she did towards the demons.
I get she IS the main character, but can any one be made too much of a main character? Or was it just made annoying to me because of how long this story is.
Either cozy themed fantasies/romantasies are not for me, or this just didn't grab me as it did with a number of the readers 🤷♀️

The story concept is great, but this book doesn’t do it justice. It does not need to be 600+ pages.

My most anticipated and my favourite book of the year. I cried, I laughed, I sobbed, I felt warm, I felt comfort, I felt love. This book is a must to read in my opinion and I can't wait for more😭

Good GOD can we get this author an editor
What started out as a very interesting premise devolved into 300 pages of therapy talk and cutesy one-shot scenarios instead of an actual book with plot and character arcs.
Literally the universe is being invaded by extra-dimensional beings and all the page time was dedicated to the author dumping her thinly-veiled religious trauma onto the reader. That’s what your personal journal is for.
Also all of this page time and you don’t even wrap up some of Lily’s shortcomings about viewing her family in the mortal realm. Instead I’ve got to be point-blank preached to about emotional regulation.
TLDR: very cool premise, first 100 pages are gripping. Could have cut 50% of the book and actually had a cohesive and coherent story. Morals are written out word-for-word instead of actually displayed in the story.
TTLDR: this is what I get for reading a TikTok book
