I could not put this book down. There was one night where I stayed up till 6am reading. The enemies to lovers exchange was easy and built tension like a slow burn that was not frustrating to read. I CANNOT wait to read the second book in the duology when it comes out. I only wish it could be a longer series because I fell in love with these characters.

PS: this is going on my shelf of trophy books 100%

This book was honestly kind of frustratingly repetitive at times. I also spent a decent amount of time vaguely confused about what was happening however I still had a great time when I did understand things lol. The romance subplot was great and the plot was rather intricate and eventually came together well but it took quite a while.
