I really, really enjoyed this one. Based on Much Ado About Nothing, this delightfully desi centered romp tackles the idea of a 'family manager,' and basing your worth on the support/help you give to your family/community. And as an eldest sibling of immigrant parents, I was here for it and enjoyed it (though really hard to give a well rounded, context-rich scope of the mentality, I thought it was a great way to dip our feet into the topic of what to do when your family wants you, but doesn't need you).
I was also appreciative that Sharma seemed to tone down and mellow out the caricature-ness and over exaggeration of stereotypes that I felt were over the top in [b:Dating Dr. Dil|57007401|Dating Dr. Dil (If Shakespeare Was an Auntie, #1)|Nisha Sharma|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1642405300l/57007401._SY75_.jpg|73483702]. This was the right balance of seriousness, (albeit ridiculous) drama, and fun, though I really wish we saw more of the enemies banter with this MCs. I will also add that the way they get together is a bit rushed and kind of odd, but also I can see the very clear connection to the Shakespeare play.
And her dedication made me grin and pump my fist in the air.
All in all, it was a solid sick day read, and I can't wait for the next installment in this series.
Thanks NetGalley for giving me an ARC of this in exchange for an honest review.

Same idea as the previous book; definitely wish the “frienemy” stage had lasted longer to create more tension
I loved Dating Dr. Dil and read it twice, and this was even better! I'm obsessed with Bunty and Bobbi and honestly wish there were more of them -- the book went too fast and there wasn't enough. This book turned into one of those reads that you just can't get away from. I finished the book this morning, but my mind has been running around in their world all day. I'm already daydreaming about Veera and Deepak's book. *Squeal*

From the start, Benjamin and Bobbi had me in a chokehold. I loved the fire between them and their jabs honestly were so good when they would start bickering at the beginning that you KNEW they were going to be explosive when they gave into their desire and they WERE. The sparks between these two were coming off the page I swear.
To me, both the family manager role Benjamin took on as well as the feelings Bobbi had about showing her love through doing things for people were very relatable and the family and friend dynamics in this book had me tearing up on and off which for me is a sign of a great book haha. When the spice came in it was good, and their dynamic outside of the bedroom was so fun to read about I probably could've read another 300 pages about them. I love Bobbi as a female lead, I thought she was strong and while she struggled with vulnerability we got to see her grow in a way that she never saw for herself which I loved. Benjamin was just adorable I adored him, and I loved how these two fit into each other's lives especially since they saw each other as polar opposites at first.
The groveling as well as Benjamin's inner monologue at the end of the book every time he saw Bobbi had me losing my mind oh my god I was eating it up. I wish there was a little more of showing after the wedding for the two of them however I assume we will see them in Vera and Deepak's book which I am also excited for. This continues to be a great series and I really enjoy this author's characters and overall writing. I can't wait to see where it goes from here!
