This book was really good. I really liked the characters. There are some things I loved more about Karena and Prem but also things I loved more about Bobbi and Bunti. I think the parts I disliked the most was the issues the characters had near the end.

❤️Steamy!
❤️Amazing Desi community and families
❤️Hilarious group of Aunties
❤️Chosen sisters
❤️Family dynamics
❤️Two work-a-holics fall in love
❤️They’re both big ol’ grumps

I absolutely adore this cast of characters, they’ve definitely stolen my heart! Bobbi and Bunty’s banter and tension was great and they were so wonderfully sexy (get ready to blush and kick your feet embarrassingly). They were both a little grumpy too which is right up my alley. Also, special mention for all the food they ate or cooked because I spent the entirety of this book incredibly hungry.

In comparison to the first book, I think I enjoyed Kareena and Prem’s chemistry a little more but I enjoyed the overall story of Tastes Like Shakkar more than Dating Dr Dil. The only other issue that prevented this from being a five star read for me is the pacing. The pacing was definitely a little off and it was very slow at times but in general this was a fantastic read.

I would recommend it if you want a book with so much heart that all the love (romantic, platonic and familial) pretty much spills out the pages.

Amount of spice:🔥🔥🔥5-6 scenes
Explicitness: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️Open door, explicit & slightly bolder than usual

Enjoyed this one as much as the last one. Again I wanted a longer arc to get from "I can't stand you" to "I can't live without you" and this being a Much Ado adaptation, I could've done with more banter.
But the story has intrigue, lots of spice (with a little kink too), some understandable emotional roadblocks, and lots of love for Desi culture. With one of the MCs being a chef, we also get lots of mouth-watering descriptions of food that make me very sad to be presently located in a small town with zero access to Indian food. 😭
