If you thought Dating Dr. Dil was good, you'll love the second book in the series. This book is so much better than the first, it's hard to even imagine it's in the same story world. First of all, this love story is 10 months in the making, and there is so much more going on than just their love story which I always love. There are their jobs, their culture and of course the aunties. I love the fat representation and how it is done throughout the book. I am obsessed with Bobbi and Benjamin; I literally spent all day yesterday in their world.

There were some serious topics too, you can't have 2 first generation Americans and not talk about the differences they faced growing up and continue to face now with their families. It made me think of the way I handle my own family being first generation myself. The steam omg the steam is so good. And then of course the aunties always are around for some comic relief. Go pick up this book now if you haven't already.

Thanks to NetGally for ARC copy in exchange for an honest review, as always, all words are my own.

This just like some of the other books I am putting in today is something I read months ago. So, my remembrance of the plot has faded a little. However, this was just a cute little rom-com I liked the main characters quite a bit. However, my favorite part was probably all of the side characters. I don't really have much else to say but this book was good.

Okay, I LOVED this book! I loved Bobbi and Bunty/Ben! Bobbi is like Kareena (Dating Dr. Dil) in a sense of they’re going to stand on business and fight for their beliefs/loved ones. Bobbi’s strength in being there for the ones she loves is so relatable and heartwarming. She was so relatable when it came to being plus size and loving herself in her skin, but also recognizing that not everyone is going to, including people of her own kin. Sometimes, it really be your own people. Bunty/Ben was that awkward cute kid that always said the wrong thing at the worst time lmao. As frustrating as he was when it came to their third act break-up, I get it… familial obligations are so hard to shed. That immigrant parental guilt will do it every time, so I get it… HEAVILY. I’m glad he stood tf up tho, because my girl Bobbi deserves the world <3

Side note, I get that they wanted the whole “whodunnit” mystery… but I also feel like realistically, they could’ve nipped that shit in the bud after the first mishap… because ain’t no way you proceeded with planning/ordering/organizing without taking extra precaution… anyways, LOVE & RECOMMEND!

I’m beyond ready for our final couple :’) in Marriage & Masti <3

This poor woman was being hit with the worst psychological warfare possible omg. I hope no one irl talks like the male leads do during sex bc honestly I was cracking up it was so cringey and ridiculous. Also wth with the cliffhanger in the epilogue
