This was such a cute book. I was gagged that it takes place 10 months after the initial one, but it was a beautiful love story for sure. I’m so happy for Bobbi, and her man (his name escapes me right now) came to an important realization that was very much needed, and I love that for him.
Acknowledging that they are in love never seems to be the hard part in these stories, it’s always something else, which I appreciate. I don’t have time for the mental gymnastics of trying to convince oneself that this isn’t serious or whatever.
I will say, though, that I was blindsided that the epilogue was just… not about the original couple at all.

A fun, fast-paced read with a fabulous heroine, spicy chemistry between the hero and heroine, a sprinkling of Shakespeare references, a great portrayal of female friendships, and an interesting exploration of the two main characters' complicated relationships with their work, as well as the messy dynamics that come along with a family business.

I love this character series by Nisha Sharma. I decided to reread Dating Dr. Dil before continuing on since it had been ages since I have read it. I am glad I did because I forgot the intricacies of some of the characters. While it’s not pivotal to do before reading this book, I highly encourage reading the series in order.
What I love about Nisha’s writing is that she writes about a culture that is vastly underrepresented in the book community. Something that might feel different and new to some of us is just finally getting to see themselves or their culture to so many others. If you haven’t read any of Nisha’s books, go do it.
