Super cute book! It was a bit repetitive in the beginning, could use a little editing for that. But the story lived up to the description and the cute cover. I am looking forward to reading this authors future books

I love the characters, especially the main baby dragon, though the romance itself was boring. Nice descriptive passages, especially if the food and surroundings.

The premise sounded good and the cover art is cute, but the writing was simplistic and the plot predictable. Take out the few mentions of the main characters in bed (which are vague mentions of what they're doing, not at all smut) and this reads as a middle grades-YA novel, not an adult novel deserving of a place in the romance section.

OMG. A little slow for me in the first few chapters, and a little repetitive in the phrasing a few times which took me out of the story briefly, but I LOVED this book and will recommend it to every passerby FOREVER. so sweet, so tender. The LONGING??? yes.

Cute and cozy, but sometimes almost a little too cozy? The lack of stakes was a nice change and alsoeft me feeling like something was lacking.

The Baby Dragon Cafe was so adorable I might have been smiling the whole time. My sister and I have a whole thing about referring to happy fantasy books as whimsy and that’s exactly what this was. I was unexpectantly so charmed by this story.
The story follows Saphira, the owner of the cafe as she starts to train the baby dragon, Sparky, in an attempt for a little extra money. Sparky is owned by Aiden who comes from a popular dragon riding family but has yet to be able to handle his little disobedient dragon.
The perfect dual POV of grumpy and sunshine, although I would say he isn’t as grumpy as just introverted vs extroverted.
Saphira has finally realised her dream, and opened The Baby Dragon Cafe: the only establishment in town to allow rowdy and troublesome baby dragons within. Despite being surrounded by baby dragons, she still yearns for a baby dragon of her own. When Aiden appears at her door with Sparky, she is given a chance to train her own little dragon.
This was an incredibly cute story. The baby dragons were precious, even troublesome little Sparky. The cafe was cosy and gorgeously described - exactly somewhere I could imagine myself. I liked Aiden and Saphira; Saphira was a particularly strong character.
I found the overall writing style such a struggle though. I didn't feel there was any real depth. The romance progressed way too fast - almost instalove and it just didn't feel believable. As much as I liked the characters, their romance just felt flat.
I found the writing really simplistic. I struggled to stay engaged. I was told three times in as many pages that Sparky was the last egg from Aiden's late brother's dragon - the same thing was explained repeatedly throughout the book. So much of the narrative felt unnecessary.
I really wish I had enjoyed this more. It was certainly cute and cosy, but I feel like it could have been so much more.
