So funny and satisfying. The first thing I read after discovering I desperately needed reading glasses. And what do you know - I do still love to read - I just couldn't see! So many great characters. I love the Night's Watch, and who doesn't love an enormous dragon?

I ought to give this book 4 stars. I was desperately sad at Sir Terry's death so resolved to read the next book I'd reached in the Discworld series (I'm well behind I know). The book is as funny as ever but I encountered the same issue I'd had with other Discworld novels (e.g. Mort) in that it drags a bit and is hard to get to the finish. Perhaps its because the humour comes first at the detriment of plot or because the writing itself is quite dialogue-dense and full of subtle language but its a real shame for me to say I struggled. Good characters pull this through though.
