Although I still enjoyed this one I found myself a bit disappointed by the low stakes. Tension was introduced and then resolved mere paragraphs later.

But I love these orcs and the immaculate smut so still a good rating from me ☺️

I enjoy that this book improves upon the first in a lot of way, but there is still some aspects I think leave some things to be desired. I honestly enjoy have straight forward the first book was with the “mate” storyline and I wish this one did that. I mean I get for the character why they hid it but it still seemed counter productive. Though I do like how the characters are slightly more dynamic in this plot. Honestly the build up and tension was fun to read though, so while I wish they didn’t hold off on so long for a reward, it was worth the wait in a lot of ways.

Fun and engaging read overall.

Book was soo good again!! Loved it. The angst was good too had my heart beating aber the declaration of love hätte noch etwas stronger sein können an der einen stelle aber it wasnt bad. The age gap is a lil illegal i have to say aber ich sag mir einf dass orcs anders altern als menschen so i can sleep well at night lol. Aber lovee them both und als die beiden ne kurze Trennung hatten und sie sich von ihm ferngehalten hat?? Perfection. Sie wollte ihm aus dem weg gehen und er konnte nicht ubd es war einf ahhhhh soo gutt loved it. The angst that i needd. Smut war mal wieder wildd und intense goddamn. Liebe die Serie weil die orc Männer einf zucker sind auch wenn ich deren tusks ignoriere lol
