A fun book about three kids who are introduced to the world of magic and chocolate - a wonderful combination! A few of the minor story lines could've been trimmed or edited out completely to make the plot move along, but overall this is a fun fantasy book that upper elementary kids would enjoy.

Good little book for middle-grade fantasy/magic reading. It had the feel of Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.
5 stars for Jayne Entwistle narration - I listen to 2 books by her in one day.

This was a really fun children's story that has fully developed characters in both the children and the animals. It feels very Narnia in the world outside of reality. I highly recommend this for tweens who like magic and independent children who aren't expected to act like adults.
