Well researched, great reading list and concepts, very helpful. Can be truly revolutionary to our work culture and one’s personal life when implementing the strategies Grace proposes. Not sure why I ever put it down between first starting it and now but I really loved this and she doubled my #tbrpile.

No paragraph separation, too many culture pop references, storyline going nowhere.

This missed the mark for me, it did not deliver what it promised. This sounds like it would be a book full of practical tips but it hardly has any. The ones it does include are things like SMART goals which aren't exactly new or ground breaking.
Most of the book was a poorly structured ramble style memoir. I have no idea who the author is, I was looking for books to help with burn out, so I did not care about her life or experiences especially since she came off as very privileged.

“Get off your phones at dinner, take a second out of the gossip and talk about what makes you happy, what makes you feel lost, and where you want to be heading. And I promise, no matter where that is, you’ll be able to create a path to get there.”
So not what the book is all about but at the same time so much of what the book is all about.
I don’t know where I’m going, I don’t know what path I’m trying to create. But what I do know is that I cannot let work and the perspective of success fade out my interest for the small and apparently almost insignificant things that make me feel happy and fulfilled.
A constant reminder that stoping is beneficial and that we need to rethink how the labour market works and what is the part that we want to play in it.
