A few of these stories I really enjoyed— the title story, the silk moth story, and the veteran story. Others were interesting but less engaging.

This is a great collection. Mesmerizing and inspiring. If there was a book to get me going for the day to write, it is this book. The concepts and "supernatural" aspects in it bring a sort of realism that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Proving Up is one of my favorite short stories. It's up there with Claire Keegan's Antarctica.
