There are some really poignant quotes in this book.

Huh... This book is more abstract than the book jacket makes it appear. But, it is hopeful and giddy in its doomsday following. Traces of every left of center American in 2016

very post-post-modern (is that the latest?). I enjoyed the style and the many, many references. The post-modern angst of climate change, social / US culture / etc is well captured. I really liked the final URL at the end of the story.

I didn't like this book much to start. Too mundane, with Jo obvious plot but instead mostly this woman's stream of consciousness. But the more I read the more I recognised some of my own anxieties about life, climate change, politics, the desire to prepare and take action but uncertainty about how to do it. One to makes you think.

The sibling relationship in this novel -- so good!
