Loved the emotional language and journey of this book. It was recommended to me in an independent bookstore, who made you queue to enter since it is the pandemic. The bookseller was so right about what a delight this was- not in the it all ends happily kind of way but a satisfying read.

A nice float through a relatable narrator's stream of consciousness

What a weird, interesting little book. Written mostly in stream of conscious musings and email snippets. This small book packs a bigger punch than other books three or four times its size. Glad I found it.

Told in a very direct manner. Not a lot of extra details. Mostly about stuff we should all be thinking about with climate change, but most of us aren't ready to change our habits.

Eerily similar to our day to day, business as usual chugging along through the apocalypse.

I like Offill’s writing style and look forward to reading more.
