This was... Rough. Sickly dark, Z's drive for righteousness appeals to me. 
Addie. She could have been a bit more layered. I wanted to see more with her family. Why is her mother such a test?

There needs to be a good edit done for this book. Too many typos not caught before being published.

I think this book was so important to have read before hunting adeline. i belive that the healing journey for addy would have made no sense if we didnt have this book. The connection between zade and adeline is crazy and even from the beggining where they hardly know each other and zade is stalking her i felt like they were such a good match, and zade treats her so well.
