I really enjoyed most of this book, the world was great, the writing was really good, but that ending. The character development was a little clunky. I’m still planning on picking up the second one and I am going to check out more by this author!!

I’m new to fantasy and this was easy to read and follow. I was told it would be spicy but it definitely was tame and an extremely slow burn which I was ok with. Already have book 2&3 ordered and on the way.
