Enjoyable, easy read. Nothing too unexpected in terms of the main plot line. For when you want something lighthearted, comforting, and not challenging.

This is a heartfelt and impactful story! The blend of humor and emotion, along with relatable characters like Daphne, makes this story truly memorable. I related to Daphne on multiple levels, including losing your sense of self in a relationship and her barely present father. The relationship arc between Daphne and Miles and the ending made the story shine for me.

My first Emily Henry that’s been sat on my kindle for about a year.

I needed something that wasn’t fantasy after When The Moon Hatched, as I have two ARC reads which are both fantasy coming up. Something a little frothy, with a swoon-worthy MMC, and this ticked all the boxes.

I think in the past I would have turned my nose up at this sort of book, but I really enjoyed it. Characters are well formed, but you knew there were going to be some unnecessary obstacles thrown into their path when they made out properly for the first time about a third of the way through the book.

I liked that it wasn’t just about Daphne and Miles, but about how Daphne finds herself place in the world and how she turns from a “we” person to an “I” person.

Yes, it’s predictable, but who doesn’t love a predicable happy ending?

Nicht „funny“. Ich dachte es spielt auf einer Hochzeit, stattdessen spielt es in einer Amerikanischen Kleinstadt 😤. Wünschte ich hätte dnfed.
