This book, much like the other two in the series, was addicting. It had major potential to be my favorite with a strong beginning. However, CJ initially being upset with Lennon made no sense to me. I can see him being generally peeved that she worked for the restaurant he so obviously hated, but he was FUMING and took it out on her. I personally don’t think he did enough groveling to earn Lennon back. The plot line with the brother and her past catching up to her came to an abrupt halt and wasn’t satisfying.

Despite its flaws, I appreciate how each Griffith brother book was unique. The three stories flowed well together and made the reader very immersed in their world. I wish there was more in this besides Nate’s stand alone!

This book was solid but i didn’t connect with it as much as i did with the other two in the series. Some of the plot points were crazy but it wasn’t too outlandish to take me out of it. I didn’t feel too strongly about either of the main characters but i still liked the family aspects that were present in each of the books.

I’m so happy to be done with this series. Albeit this was the best one of the four, I can’t believe I had to suffer through book 3 to get here.

It's rare that I read a book where both characters are grumpy characters but this one works so well. They struggle to find joy because of thier past and their experiences but they are allowing themselves to stay stuck…until they are motivated by more to get better and work on themselves…by each other. Lennon & CJ….I adore them. When they are arguing and bantering it is hysterical to me. I really enjoyed this story and the family and found family of it. It's beautiful.
