Out of all the Griffith Brothers stories, this one made me tear up the most. Maggie has put so much poignancy and vulnerability in Carson James and Lennon's story, I felt immediately on Lennon's side. Her life is in shambles, to put it mildly. The cards that were dealt to her by fate, destroyed her present and future. On the run, she meets CJ at a bar and after a passionate Tryst, go separate ways.
What a coincidence that she ends up working for him...AND clocks him on the same day!!
Their venomous banter is fueled by passion, so is their proximity.
No wonder these enemies can't stay away and stay together.

"Go fuck yourself."
"I'd say the same about you but the way your head is up your Ass, you're doing a fine job of fucking yourself"

The proverbial Fire Line, the thing you have to sacrifice to create a buffer between you and your demons, is what they're both looking for.
And it's EGO.
When they let go, their relationship goes through a beautiful turnabout and wildflowers loom all over. Scenting it with fragrant emotions.
I lived the book, the series, the brothers, the family.
I'm on her back list binge and going back to the start with Nate & Becks story next

So so good! Loved this quick read! I loved CJ’s ability to break down Lennons barriers that helped them forge their love/relationship with one another. I loved Lennon’s sass and spunkiness throughout the entire book. Just wish it wasn’t SO fast paced bc I wanted the book to last longer!

the fact that this book is the last in this series is so bittersweet. when i tell you that all three of these books are bangers for me, i am so serious. maggie is honestly one of my top tier authors and if you aren’t reading her book… you should.

when i tell you that carson james and lennon had such toe-curling chemistry… i wish i had a handheld fan throughout this. you could cut the tension with a knife. it was so hot but also they were so sweet for each other i could not. their “you came.” “you called.” moment is etched into my brain for the rest of eternity.

cannot wait to see what maggie does next, i will be front row!!!

The final Griffith brother has gotten his happy ending and it is bittersweet. Every book in this series was so, so good.
who knew a rough cowboy could have such a way with words. I loved CJ and Lennon together because they brought out the best in each other. And that’s what they needed. The spice & plot balance is great. The storyline keeps you captivated at a nice pace to keep you wanting to read more.

I feel this series is great for lovers of Elsie Silver and Laura Pavlov.
