The third and final book in Sharma's Shakespeare was an Auntie Desi-American steamy MF romance series - a reimagining of Twelfth Night as a friends-to-lovers / fake-dating corporate takeover.

A great end to the series!

Marriage & Masti by Nisha Sharma
This is the third book in the If Shakespeare Was an Auntie series. You can read it as a standalone, but it is infinitely better as the third book.

It's finally Veera’s turn! We get to know what she was up to this whole time. There are so many emotions in here! I loved Veera's boundaries with her father. She stuck to them, she went to therapy, she put herself first. Swoon! How Veera felt left out when her two best friends coupled up was so vivid. I felt it in my heart. And the love she feels in the community of married women, double swoon.

I love how Nisha Sharma show us very clearly that Asians and Desis are not a monolith. I love that she shows us all types of relationships, AND that everyone likes different things in bed.

Adding to The Diverse Baseline Challenge November prompt of Literary Fiction. It's skating the line here, but it is a reimagining of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, so I'm going for it.
fast-paced

well well well, look what the cat dragged in
bhai I love romances so much, i should never forget that
a d sometimes i should stop pretending that I only like reading sophisticated books, because I'm really slow at it.

I loved this, and I adored the imperfect characters doing their messy best.
A charming ending to this series

NISHA SHARMA FOREVER!!! I’m so obsessed with this series. This was soooooo funny and I’m glad these two finally got their HEA. This is they only way to do the marriage of convenience trope imo!

My favorite Nisha Sharma book of the series. I kept putting it down because I didn’t want to finish it. Friends to lovers is one of my all time favorite tropes and Deepak and Veera have been on my radar since Dating Dr. Dil. The whole transformation of their friendship to fake marriage to real marriage is a beautiful story. I laughed, I cried, and I had so much fun with all of these characters. This is forever going to be one of my top series recommendations.
