This was a fine listen. Not too thrilling and not too twisty, but just fine. Lots of suspending the disbelief with this one to make it work.

This is about Jane. She just wants a better life for herself and she is trying to run away from her past. In she meets Eddie. He lost his wife and can't take the weight of it anymore. They start dating and then get engaged in a quick fashion.

Is Jane stupid for doing this or is she smart for using him and his money to make it farther in life. But who did kill his wife and his best friends wife or was it all an accident anyway? What are all those noises upstairs that she is hearing.

Loved this book.
