I hated the It's Just That Easy! tone of a lot of this; I'm currently deep in excavating some really hard stuff about stuckness in therapy that the book's approaches don't feel equal to and it put me on the defensive (not to mention the misapprehensions about ADD), so what I did highlight I had to fight to do over the sense I was doing so grudgingly, but ugh, I did highlight it in places, I guess.

Such an incredible read. So powerful! Britt Frank makes self-help knowledge so digestible in this book with brilliant metaphors, pop culture references, and anecdotal experiences. I laughed and cried as I read it! I’ll likely be referencing this book for at least the next few months as I try to implement this info. This will for sure be a book I recommend to my colleagues and clients.
