I like boo as a chacter a lot!!! I enjoyed the writing and the art!!! I can't wait for the next volume!!! Only complaint is it feels too short!!!

The main character, Boo, has an insecure/avoidant attachment style due to her mother's drinking problem, and uses her imagination to escape as a coping mechanism.
She has little to no self confidence in this first volume and runs away from almost every conflict.
I found this frustrating, but very relatable too!
I hope to see more character development as the series progresses.

At first this seemed so twee, but it ended up being so much better than I thought it would. The supporting characters are so wonderful and supportive of Boo. And what a cliffhanger of an ending!
