This is the first book I ever read of Gina Darlings. And easy to say it was my favourite in the elite series. Giana had me hook, link and sinker and I have devoured every books she writes. Giana hits you in the feels ❤️

description Since I always strive to be 100% honest in my reviewing, I will admit that I am kind of over this series. It's been a bit of a hot mess of way too much OW stuff (for my tastes), confusing timelines, and a lot of repetition. At the same time I feel this compulsion to see keep going and see where this is all going to end. (lol) And there has been a few good parts throughout (so there is that).

After the last book which was by FAR the best book of the series I had high hopes that the series would end with a bang. This book was more like a sputtering firecracker. Now don't get me wrong. I actually liked this one (mostly), and this author gets HUGE props for being only the second book with no pointless OW sex scenes (yay). But it didn't really advance the storyline a lot and was a bit confusing. Since there is only one more book, I expected more action, and answers. However, I did enjoy that this book focused more on the romance which most of the previous ones lacked. But I wasn't a fan that the heroine was older (bleh). And finally, that ending had my interest sparked BIG TIME. So I have my fingers crossed the last book will pull the proverbial rabbit from the hat and give us all a fantastic and satisfying ending.

Oh my goodness! This book was so good. It was like a rollercoaster in the dark you don’t know which way it’s going to turn. I 💜💜💜 Rush! His father thought he was worthless, but his mother’s love pushed him in a way that would change everything. I also loved his little church mouse. She surprised me most. Just her faith and how she bloomed because of Rush! I love this series! I can’t wait to read the next book.

This series is AMAZING! Rush Dempsey says he doesn't give a f**k but when he does, oh my is it yummy! This guy, who everyone is convinced is a slouch, is pretty much a masterful puppeteer. He's the kind of guy who will make you do something bad, then convince you it had been your idea all along. Dirty talking Alpha to the extreme... oh how I wish he was real and that I was the one he truly gave a f**k about lol, talk about intensity! Edge of your seat twists and turns here. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I absolutely loved it and recommend it! Just bravo well done Ms. Darling! This whole series is a must! Can't wait for the final book!

ONLY ONE MORE BOOK!
Gah, Greed is going to be so damn intense!

Sloth was really well written. There’s something incredibly addicting about a church born and bred little lady getting down and dirty in a whole new world.

I loved finally getting to see inside Sloths head! He was so illusive in all the other books, always there, that it was extra sweet to be along for his ride.

Something that I was desperate to happen, happened! Yay! I’ve been waiting for what feels like my whole life for this event. Does that make me crazy? 🤷🏻‍♀️ don’t care!

My only real complaint is the few pages that contained inconsistencies- example: someone is barefoot, and a few paragraphs later that same person is in boots. I don’t know if everyone notices those things like that, but they bug the hell out of me!

At the end of the day, though, this book is fantastic, but the ending is 100% the best. I’m not even a little patient waiting for Greed!
