Personal preference, didn’t like the  noncon & the spice seemed a bit repetitive. I think I lot of it was personal preference of the mmc being tooooo controlling & I don’t care for the miscommunication tripe being such a big part of the story.

perhaps not my favourite from the series but it was still fantastic and truly, this whole series is a wonderful, entertaining time and this book truly was no different in that regard

DID NOT FINISH: 20%

The story was quite interesting but a little bit pushy and awkward.  The back and forth between the past and the present regarding the “ennemies” part (and I still don’t know why after the 1/3 of the book) was a little bit too complicated for something that I suspect not a ”good” reason for that mess.

I DNF because the first spicy scene makes absolutely no sense to me. I was wondering “but why?” all along…

My TBR is too long to waste any time in a book where after 100 pages, I am even not enjoying the spice.

3.5 I enjoyed Deimos and Dahlia as a couple. The smut was hot but there was a lot of it and it became kind of repetitive.

I liked Dahlia but I thought Deimos would be a little more psycho. We heard so much about how crazy and intense he could be but we didn’t see him in action a lot.

The plot was also kind of repetitive as well when comparing to the previous books. I also wish there was a little more of the family in this book considering it’s the last one.

I still enjoyed reading this series and it was easy to read. I’ll definitely be reading more from Jagger Cole in the future.
