4! Another well written novel! I am still left wondering about the first Krewe of Hunters...Can not for the life of me understand why another was necessary so early on...especially when we still haven't had the stories on all the members of the aforementioned team...Will! BUT I really did still enjoy this book! Just wishing for more from the first tier of books...more tiered than a series...

Overall rating: 4/5
Writing: 4/5, It's good but nothing outstanding. She is reliable.
Plot: 5/5, good whodunit, I enjoyed the mystery a lot. The romance is standard
Characters: 3/5, Again these are formulaic romantic suspense, the characters mostly have one big defining moment that is discussed and the basis of their personality. They're fun but a bit cookie-cutter.

Would I reread?: Probably not, just because these are my easy guilty pleasure books, so when I'm in the mood or need a palette cleanser I grab a new book of hers. Her Vampire Alliance series I have reread but with the Krewe, you might as well just grab a new one rather than reread.

POV: 3rd person limited
Genre: Romantic Paranormal Suspense, Romantic Paranormal Mystery, PNR
Pace: Fast-Paced, her books go pretty fast with the mystery and the romance.
Tone: Fun, mysterious
Storyline: These are more plot-driven than character I would say, locked door mystery is the main plot
Themes: revenge, romance, mystery, movie sets, hollywood
Writing style: Simple and to the point, focus on a well-plotted mystery
Book Appeal: Great for a cozy paranormal mystery read. I love these when I'm in the mood to zone out with a book a little. It still keeps you guessing, but is fun and easy to read.
Type: Standalone Series #6 of Krewe of Hunters, They can be alone or in order. They go in about 4-6 book larger arcs of the teams. This is the 2nd book of the 2nd team. You can bounce around and still enjoy them.

Content Warnings:
death (on-page a little graphic), cancer death, betrayal

Was the Blurb/Genre Accurate: Yes

Loved rereading this book of Hollywood and ghosts and mysteries! Such a great book, and I've almost caught up to The Uninvited, my main reason for the reread!

*First read December 30th 2012*
Interesting book, great characters, and a really complex mystery! Really enjoyed this book, must read more!!!

To be perfectly honest, any book where the hero is a Texas Ranger and the heroine is a US Marshall and they both talk to ghosts starts high on my list. I admit it. Add in a San Antonio setting, which is a city I love, and this book just has a lot going on from the start. As always, with Heather Graham, I enjoyed the characters. She has an amazing sense of setting. The Alamo is almost a character in itself. I really enjoyed this.

Typical Heather Graham book. Murder, ghosts and a bit of instant love. Nice and quick read.

Definitely my least favorite of the Krewe Hunter's series. Weak plot, weaker leads, just weak. I will still continue with the series because I have faith in Heather Graham's writing. I think she just stretched this Krewe Hunters theme too thin.

A well-written mystery that keeps you guessing as to who the killer might be. Other than a group of characters who can communicate with the dead, practically everyone is a suspect.

The setting, The Black Box Cinema, is a perfect atmosphere for this mystery to unfold in. Graham paints a colorful picture in which her dynamic characters can come to life. And, they do.

I would have liked to see more romance develop between the hero and heroine. But The Unholy is still very much an exciting and suspenseful read, which stands out from the other titles in the stack.
