Dr. Louis Creed takes a new job and he moves his family to rural town of Ludlow, Maine, this new beginning seems to good to be true. Those trucks on the road travel by too quickly. A blood - chilling truth is hidden there - one more terrifying than death itself, and hideously more powerful. As Louis is about to discover for himself sometimes, dead is better...

The ending was interesting and was a twist, but this book was also a little scary not going to lie. I only read horror books during the day or when it's daylight because if I read it at night time I will be freaked out for the rest of the night and not be able to sleep. I feel like the less you know about this book the better it'll be. I did get recommended this book by someone on book tube and they made it seem like this really scary book but honestly it wasn't even that bad of a book. I know Stephen King's books can be scary but I might pick up another one of his books and give it a shot. I remember when I was little I used to watch under the dome and I think that was a Stephen King novel and I remember really loving the show, but then they went and canceled it. I might end up reading that book. I think I am going to pick up more Stephen King books and give them a shot. This book wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. Can't wait to read more.

It was spooky enough but I don’t know if I liked the ending with the silly little murderous baby. Stephen King really hyped up that this was the darkest book he’s ever written but nah

This is my first Stephen King book I have ever read, did not even see the movie Shinning. I have to say that at first I had my doubts. Then, later in the book I started having mixed feelings: from "meh...wutever..." to "what??? O.O" Then I went to "hmm ok...i can deal with it..." then back to "wow...he did it...i guess he did it".

This book is a book of mixed feelings. And all of them ended in relief. Not that I finished the book....but for the outcome...It does leave you wonder. Lets you think: " Would I do it if i was given the chance?"
Huge passages of creepiness involved later on! Cringe, creep out call it how you want, it will unravel you. And it will comprise you.

Read it. Even if it is the 1st SK book you read. You will have doubts at the beginning but then it all starts to gather.

A chilling masterpiece. Everyone knows the premise of Pet Cemetery without having to read the book. King has a way of keeping you interested and intrigued throughout even if you know what’s going to happen. He’s a captivating writer.
