Surprisingly, this might be my most favorite story from this series. I normally don't like short spinoffs because they don't add any value to the character developments. But this...this was something special. The message was beautifully wrapped in the guise of a love story but it was much much more than just that. Don't skip this one!

i thought about this but this didn't feel so original.

may be patrick gave a nice twist and all but that can really be expected after the ask and the answer. we know coyle quite nicely after that.
so this was okay.
I never doubted that patrick is a good novelist but his short stories are okay(atleast for me)
too simple and kinda unoriginal.
it's like if you wonna show small material of this good trio, it's expected to be somewhere atleast near it if not more than that.
