Its funny that I rated all the ebooks 0.5, 2.5 and 4.5 as 5 stars compared to the actualy books in the series that I rates 4 stars each. hahahaha. I guess I love this kind of backstory so much!

Absolutely loved this. It's a great backstory to who the spackle are and the relationships that can form between them and humans. This is why I love Patrick ness. He can show the most amazing story and tell it well in such a short space of time.

The town had started with optimism, moved into defiance, before slowly, slowly, slowly collapsing into defeat.

Another lovely short story in my best-loved dystopian series. Once again Patrick Ness does not disappoint. In this very short installment he manages to paint a beautiful picture of love, give some social commentary and deliver a surprise ending to this sad story.
If you have not read [b:Chaos Walking: A Trilogy|13047567|Chaos Walking A Trilogy|Patrick Ness|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1340011788s/13047567.jpg|18212082], it's definitely time to remedy it.
