The book started extremely slow with unnecessary medical definitions for what felt like hours, but the plot was captivating, and the story quickly picked up. The investigation was entertaining and somewhat novel, but the ending took a confusing turn. I know the author was trying to have an "omg" moment, but it just didn't work for me or make much sense. The person responsible was the one who brought the case to Sara's attention anyway. Had she not given Sara another victim's name, no one would have even known a case existed. Overall, it was entertaining, but it wasn't exemplary.
