A different read than other Sara Linton and Will Trent books probably because everything was so personal to them. I'd like to believe that the crimes perpetuated only happen in fictional books, but I am, alas, not that naive.

This marked my initial foray into the Will Trent series, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. I'm eager to delve into more books within this collection. While the storyline was exceptional, I do feel that the book could have been more concise. Overall, though, I enjoyed it immensely, and I extend my gratitude to NetGalley and the publisher for providing the advance reader copy.
