This was just as good if not better than the tv series I was watching on Hulu. I was surprised who ended up being the ringleader of the attacks. I cannot wait to read the other series. I recommend it if you like crime detective reads.

Do you know this author and this series of books never let me down and I have actually lost family time this week because I couldn’t put this book down and my dog is not speaking to me as I just let her run in the garden instead of her walk. This time as we approach Will and Sara’s wedding events from the past are brought out in the open when Sara treats a potential rape victim. When it turns out she is linked to people from Sara’s past it sets her down a every dark road to try and find justice and the truth for her patient.

Karin Slaughter uses current events to explore her main characters' pasts and help those new insights inform their futures perhaps better than anybody currently writing. I love this series so much. Long live Will Trent.

I love this series!

I have loved all of the Karin Slaughter books I’ve read so far but this one is definitely at the top. It was a giant twisted web that truly unraveled to a surprising end. I loved how it all unfolded and revealed each new clue carefully but with purpose.

This has got to be my favorite Will Trent book so far! So many pieces of this storyline fall into place by the end of this book. I don't know how this series can get any better, but I have faith in Karin Slaughter to do just that. Looking forward to Will and Sara's wedding.

I so love this author. This one is no exception. A college student has disappeared after a night out. This brings back. Dr. Sara Linton has just finished testifying about another similar case in which she was unable to save a girl in much the same scenario. The rapist was the son of two of her former med school colleagues. This hits too close as Sara had something tragically similar happen to her during college. As Will Trent gets involved in the investigation, more comes out than anyone ever imagined.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Karin Slaughter does it again! In this installment of the Sara Linton & Will Trent series, Sara, Will, and Faith try to untangle a web of lies, conspiracy, and entitlement to get to the bottom of what happened to Sara 15 years ago and how it is connected to a series of similar events.

CW for sexual assault and detailed rape scenes. Karin Slaughter does not shy away from reality and dark truths. Parts of this book are extremely heavy. It is helpful to have read some Trent/Linton books before for the backstory but it's not entirely necessary.

Overall, another great book from Karin Slaughter. Lots of twists and dark turns, as well as the love and friendship that Will, Trent, Faith, and Amanda all have. I couldn't put it down and already can't wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed this read. some of it was easy to figure out, but the ending was a bit of a surprise.
