I like Karin Slaughter but this one just didn’t have the usual punch or twists. I had an inkling of who was behind it all a third of the way in. Also, the topic of Rape being the central idea of the book made it harder to get through the book as it was always being discussed, pointed out, or done.
This says is a Will Trent #11 but it’s definitely a stand alone book.

I've read so many Karin Slaughter books, but After That Night, was extremely hard to put down! This gritty book was more about Sara Linton, but much needed in the Will Trent series. Highly recommend!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed this one! Not predictable, which I appreciated.
Karin is a mastermind - one of my favorite thriller authors and I’m so invested in all of the characters. Really enjoyed this 4.5 stars for me.
3.5 stars. Better than the last couple but still not nearly as good as the early books in the series. I do fear that the author has run out of things to say with these characters. More mystery. More suspense. Less feelings. Please. Just my opinion.
