Could not stand the format being read out in audiobook. This probably lends itself better to a physical book.
Did appreciate having a fat FMC who is her multifaceted and interesting but that wasn’t enough to keep me reading.

We LOVE to see a plus-sized love interest/main character! It was really nice seeing April create realistic boundaries for herself and her body.
However, I have to say, I strongly disliked the character of Marcus. I found that his age did not match his character traits. I understand it was to add some flaws, but he consistently demonstrated a very whiny and ‘righteous’ character for me, which ruined a lot of scenes he was in.
Something I also find annoying in these kinds of novels is that they make it very obvious who the ‘villains’ are in the story. It made for very simple characters and conflicts that just under minded the story as a whole.
Overall, the writing was strong and it was a cool approach to fandoms but the characters were just too weak for there to be a deeper love for the novel.

I was recommended this book by a friend - I can say that I really enjoyed it. Super great blend of sex and character development. April and Marcus had a very typical romance novel relationship but I still was interested in it nonetheless - very loving but will have fallout and big notion to bring them back together. Can't wait to read [b:All the Feels|53746015|All the Feels (Spoiler Alert, #2)|Olivia Dade|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1615567829l/53746015._SY75_.jpg|84068402]

Reading about someone who looks like me is always a plus. I’ve never been in a relationship, but I hope I can have something like Marcus and April.
I’m glad the sex wasn’t the first thing that happened in the book. I also liked the way they both dealt with their issues. It wasn’t April fixing Marcus or Marcus fixing April, but they both encouraged each other to figure out their issues. Well rounded over all!

I didn't finish this, I just gave up with this book. The writing style is so annoying to me and I just can't get through the story. Sad, because I was excited for this, but this isn't for me.
