Sometimes, all you need is to lose yourself in a good romance. Spoiler Alert turned out to be not only charming and entertaining, but also a story about real issues, such as fat shaming and dyslexia, all dealt with intelligence and heart. Call me impressed!

Really good book, helped to change my perspective on what it's like to be fat in our current society. I loved the characters and the setting!
That being said, it wasn't my personal favorite thing - too much angst, and WAY too explicit sex scenes that were always a little bit too sappy. Otherwise I loved it!

Yes! Oh how sweet and fluffy, positive and caring this dual-POV romance is! I had such a great time with the cosplaying, fanfic-writing, geologist April and the dyslexic, also fanfic-writing, famous actor Marcus, as they meet and fall in love, navigating their various troubles together, including fatphobic and ableist family and fans. Highly recommend - their chemistry was fantastic and the intimacy was steamy, plus the chapter intros with various fanfic snippets and Marcus’ previous roles were clever and fun!
