Holy cow
So so so much better than the first.
I think I just liked the characters more they were more my type.
Totally so so much fun.
Did I suspect the “twist” yes. However I was so engaged by the banter and romance it didn’t matter.
This was still a bit insta lovey but at least there was a tiny bit of resistance.

I love Sloane and Declan. They are chefs kiss perfect as a couple.

Enjoyed the dialogue between the fmc and mmc. Sloane could be one of my favourite fmc's in non fantasy romance. Especially her ability to charm the other members.

I couldn't get into this book, even with the threat of it being automatically returned, I couldn't bring myself to pick it back up. The hardest part for me was the FMC being extremely annoying, yet they kept saying she was charming and winning everyone over. I also felt that once they got together there wasn't going to be much more to the book, but idk, maybe it gets better.
