Love out of pure spite? Absolutely. Throw in a snarky, bold heroine like Sloane and a dangerous yet weirdly charming villain, and you’ve got yourself a spicy, twisted ride. Sloane really shines in this one—funny, fearless, and a total baddy.

While Declan is our main man, I’ve got a soft spot for Kieran too (more of him, please). And that pregnancy scare? I nearly DNF’ed right there—but thank the dark romance gods it wasn’t real.

Sloane and Declan are chaos together, but it works. Twisted, hot, and surprisingly adorable at times.
