J.T. Geissinger has done it again! Although this series is spin-offs of each other, they all intertwine and all have left off on cliff hangers. Usually, I’m not one for cliff hangers but I will say the author has a great skill for starting the books off strong and keeping the reader hooked the entire story. I really loved Kage in the first book, but I think Declan takes the cake for hottest gangster lol book three has been started

Quickie review: 3.25-3.5 stars. I had no idea this wasn't a standalone. The end is a cliffhanger and I think I would have enjoyed it better having read all three books in a row. Otherwise, this was pretty good, but I didn't love it. This book had a good story but I didn't feel any chemistry between the couple and I felt like there were pacing issues. Parts of the story didn't not make sense, like the heroine's brain bleed which everyone acted like had happened on it's own and not because one of the hero's men dropped her. I didn't really get why she was being held captive for so long either and I didn't really like the BDSM aspect. I didn't think master/sir titles and BDSM fit these characters. Still, I did feel the love between the couple by the end. However, I probably won't continue this series because of the issues above.

I must say this book has my absolute favorite dialogue of any book I've ever read. Sloane & Declan's banter is PRIME. The spice? It's spicyyyyyyy. I cannot recommend this book enough. Read the first one, it's good but this one? WOW.
