Very addictive, found the characters and the themes it explored intriguing. Some elements were really dark and shocking - anxiety inducing at times. I did predict most of the twists but I think that’s because they were well signalled.
I also found Shep interesting and would like to see more stories with him.

NOW THIS IS HOW YOU WRITE A PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER!

I have for the longest heard how this book was so good on tiktok and I gotta say that the hype is REAL. The way Ms. Abdullah writes, I felt like I was there witnessing everything for myself. If you haven't read this book, you need to. Like yesterday.

Lots of unexpected twists and layers to the story, even after the verdict. Good narration.

I really enjoyed this read!! Kept me hooked & just when I thought I knew how it would finish, some great twists came out of nowhere.

This was my first Kia Abdullah book but definitely note my last. One seemingly tragic mistake filled with so many plot twists. When I thought I knew, then another twist came. I loved every minute.
