Not as good as the first two in the series. This one was a bit too over-the-top silly.

While like the others this book has its slow moments, it holds your attention to want to keep reading. It took me a little longer to get through this one because it did seem to be falling under the same formula as the previous, just with a fairy godmother added, but by the end I want to continue on again because once again the author shocked me. While some of the things about it seem very "young" written the author has a familiar and friendly voice that makes you want to keep coming back

Kate gains a fairy godmother, who seems determined to mess up Kate's life. Another fun story, with great plot, but the romantic in me hated the ending. 111207
I really enjoy these Harry Potteresque books for adults. There is the angsty romance between Katie and Owen all the while evil magicians plot to take down the magical company they work for. In this book, there is an interfering fairy godmother who does more to destroy the relationship between Katie and Owen rather than bringing them together. Looking forward to book four!
