Julie Piper is a sweet, proper Southern girl spending the next six nights in a Colorado making sure her best friend’s wedding goes off without a hitch. When she encounters the dark and dangerously handsome Reed her brain tells her to run, but her body is sending entirely different signals. Reed sends her pulses racing with his very naughty, dirty mouth. Julie’s shocked by his brazenness, but she’s also secretly thrilled. When her fellow bridesmaids commit to a dare to each pick and seduce one of the groomsmen, Julie picks the best man to seduce thinking this will put any improper thoughts of Reed out of her head.

Julie is far from Reed Lawson’s usual pick. He doesn’t go for the good girl types\, but there’s something simmering beneath Julie’s layers of perfect, and Reed can’t resist. When he overhears her plot to sneak in and seduce another groomsman there’s no way he’s going to allow that to happen.

They were opposites and nothing was supposed to happen between them. Until it does and everything changes. Reed knows Julie lives in a different reality then him, but he still doesn’t want to let her go. The attraction steams up the pages which makes the pages turn faster.

overall it was a good read, but i dont feel like i got to know the characters. both mc talk about some things of their past that still affect them but they never went deep. not only i felt that i didn’t know the characters, but i also felt that they didn't know each other

20/7 - Tessa Bailey really is THE QUEEN OF INSTA-LUST! Even out-writing my previous champion, [a:Bella Andre|37249|Bella Andre|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1296177502p2/37249.jpg], because of the extra hotness brought by the more alpha-y heroes who make regular appearances in Bailey's books.

My one general complaint with Bailey's books is that they're too short. I really wish she could stretch herself to 250+ pages and I've taken half a star off for that. To be continued later...

"Julie, maid of honor at her friend's wedding, is perfectly fine with some sex while at the resort as long as it doesn't get in the way of her people pleasing. Reed can't help but want to see Julie relax for five minutes, especially if it means him being the one to help her do so. What starts as an accidental night of passion turns into a connection that both try to fight. When neither are willing to own up to the pasts that still haunt them, they will have to decide if they can stand walking away from each other or not." I listened to this on audiobook, which always makes a book seem longer, but I wasn’t particularly enamored with it. It was hot, but the story was simple and I kinda wanted more from the characters. Still, Tessa Bailey off her groove is still good
