Started off a little slow but once I got into it, I found it amazing and IMPOSSIBLE to put down. The story gets incredibly engaging and manages to showcases all the characters.

I like the concept. This story had some of my favorite comic writers behind it. I think a few good points were made. Overall, however, the story was messy and multiple people felt wildly OOC to have me really enjoy.

I feel like most of these big matchup/crossover events are just like, "Wouldn't it be cool if Magneto and Iron Man fought? HELL YEAH! Okay so now... why? ehhh... who cares?" And I'm not saying I don't get the appeal of that. OBVIOUSLY it would be cool if Iron Man and Magneto fought.

And I mean, I guess there's a point to bringing the Phoenix back... again.

Uhh this had some great moments, like Carol and Jess trying to be ladybros with Wanda, and Spider-Man... just everything Spider-Man. Overall I mostly read it because other comics kept alluding to it. I guess I could have just read the Wikipedia summary of this and been fine.

What a great big pile of crap.

Congratulations. You wrote a giant reset button without technically starting over. This comic served its purpose I GUESS, but having the final outcome you wanted doesn’t make something good.

I’m marking it as DNF because at some point I was just skim reading it I was so fed up with how much I didn’t like it.

From page one it just screams “we have an agenda, and we’re getting to the end no matter what”. The various authors don’t feel like a cohesive unit. Most characters don’t really sound like themselves. And there’s a lot of plot that just feels force fed.

Not an enjoyable experience.

Also, sidebar, I hate Scott Summers. And not just in the way I’m supposed to hate Scott Summers. I hate reading about Scott Summers, and lately I just don’t like X Men anymore. In some part because of his character, but in a larger part because of the direction the whole X Men’s gone down.

Lots of punchy fun but a story that's barely coherent. The Avengers are much more characterized throughout but they also draw upon the reserve reserve roster so good luck identifying them all. I don't know what Cyclops did to the Marvel writers but everyone makes him look like a dick nowadays. The plot is barely coherent but it moves quickly and was intriguing.

Meh. I still hate Cyclops, this didn't change my opinion.
