The plots initial trigger was quite sad with some sad discussions of grief along the way. Thankfully, there’s also tons of humorous banter between the children and their ‘guncle’. Aside from the periods of time where I found the story to be uneventful, it was an enjoyable read!

This book started slowly, but as it progressed it resonated with me. It feels light-hearted and funny, but there is comfort and guidance for living with grief, embracing life, and moving on after tragedy.
