Fun world. But generally nothing happened

This was an amazing read, full of mysteries, twisted revelation and unexpected surprises.

I love the story and the introduction of a brand new world where Feyre, a simple human girl is forced to enter in order to repay with her life as a payment.

I really like how she is able to discover herself and it’s willing to fight to save Tamlin and his court. She has become one of my favorite heroines, because honestly by being just a human girl she could really kick a$$.

I’m so excited to keep reading this series and see what’s in store for Feyre.

ACOTAR completely pulled me into its world! I loved the mix of fantasy, romance, and danger — it felt magical, intense, and addictive all at once.

At first, I really liked Tamlin. His protectiveness and the way he cared for Feyre in the beginning made him feel like the perfect love interest. On the other hand, I really didn’t like Rhysand at first — his behavior toward Feyre felt manipulative and unsettling when he was first introduced.

Despite my initial feelings about the characters, I was completely hooked by the story’s twists, the lush world-building, and the emotional stakes. Feyre’s journey was captivating, and the tension kept building in a way that made it impossible to put the book down.

An incredible start to a series that left me excited — and curious — to see what happens next!

Well...
It all started so well, a strong female character that is taking care of her family while being misunderstood and treated poorly by her spoiled sisters...

Just to be kidnaped, and the character disappears into a stubborn, irrational person, who makes lame decisions just so we can have her falling in love with her captor.

Many of the things happening made no sense, especially the way the characters acted, as I said, the author didn't bother much about how believable the characters' actions and the circumstances are, as long as they fit the love story she had in mind.

It's why it took me so long to read it since I was thinking about putting the book back on the shelf but decided to finish it after all and give it a chance to prove me wrong. If you've read the whole review, you know it didn't.

Going into this book I didn't have high hopes, but I was presently surprised! There are problematic themes throughout , and the execution is far from perfect (I was left confused a few times and feyre could be outright dumb at times) but, that aside, I honestly found myself enjoying the story for what it was. Looking forward to continuing on with the rest of the series.

DID NOT FINISH: 84%

Listened to this book but it was so cringe in the beginning. Maybe if I would've read it, it would've been different. But I can not listen to it anymore.
Def not a book for me, also wasn't that into the half human half animal thing.
