Since when did I stop reading manga ? What was wrong with me. This story is so sweet I even cried while reading some chapters of this volume.
Increíble.
Si bien ya había leído este manga hace unos años, no me deja de sorprender la calidez de esta historia. En este último tomo se me encongió el corazón mil veces. El cierre que le dan a la historia, si bien me parece un poco apresurado, me hizo muy feliz (otra vez).
La historia y los personajes de este manga me encantan (Suwa claramente es mi favorito). Pero además, valoro mucho el mensaje que transmite. Nos hace pensar en la importancia de los pequeños momentos de felicidad plena, y en nuestros seres queridos. ¿Demostramos cuánto lxs queremos? ¿Damos por sentado cosas? ¿Podemos animarnos a actuar antes de sentir remordimientos? Son algunas preguntas que se me presentaron.
El significado del título, Orange, es precioso. Se me queda grabado junto con la imagen de ellxs mirando al horizonte.

Just like orange juice, it is both sweet and sour. There is so much to learn from this manga. And I love it so much.
Ha estado bien. Toda la historia se ha ido construyendo en base a este gran fianal (que lo ha sido) pero lo que ha podido conigo ha sido el hecho de que sea un final abierto, muy abierto. ARRRGGG, como los odio.
Una historia que sin duda vale la pena leer.

(I did this review a while ago, but I stick to my review and I still believe what I wrote is how I feel now).
Orange by Ichigo Takano.
Plot: One day, Takamiya Naho receives a letter written to herself from ten years in the future. As Naho reads on, the letter recites the exact events of the day, including the transfer of a new student into her class named Naruse Kakeru.
The Naho from ten years later repeatedly states that she has many regrets, and she wants to fix these by making sure the Naho from the past can make the right decisions—especially regarding Kakeru. What’s more shocking is that she discovers that ten years later, Kakeru will no longer be with them. Future Naho asks her to watch over him closely.
Art: The art is amazing. I do really love Ichigo’s art style it feels real and the art style of the characters are just really good and on point. If you get the manga complete collection or just the standard manga’s individually then they are some parts before the next new chapter amazing art that shows different characters and they are absolutely stunning!
Story: I did enjoy the story I love the contemporary/SciFi in the twist of it, it really combined well. I loved how the story takes with you in it like you have no idea how one is going to react or what’s going to happen. This story does contain a trigger warning so if you do not like these that can trigger you or make you feel uncomfortable I suggest not to read it but at the same time do, since it does talk about a serious topic that everyone should understand and learn. The story was very good, and I found myself crying into tears! I WAS BAWLING IN TEARS! Yes, indeed this story does get you the feels and all emotional but hey, it’s worth it cause it’s GOOD DANG BOOK!!
Characters: I loved each and everyone of the characters. Naho was awesome, I felt that you can relate to these characters. Mostly Naho and Kakeru since they are the main focus besides the rest of the friends. I found myself relating to them and wanting to help them out. I just felt that I need the other friends come in part, I wanted to know how they felt more, etc. Other than that I enjoyed them a lot!
Overall: Basically I give this a 5/5 its a good story and a person to start off in the manga area and anime. Everybody who loves contemporary will love it and people who will enjoy SciFi will also since it has the touch of it. This book does have a trigger warning since it has a situation that not all will feel comfortable to read. You will love the characters and the story of it. It’s a good book that I enjoyed and I will never forget. Hope you check out the book and watch the anime that is now out!

Tengo muchas cosas para decir sobre este manga en general. Su amistad es sumamente hermosa, me encantó y reconozco la premisa es genial. Lo que no me convenció y me hizo enojar más de una vez fue el mismo Kakeru. Constantemente tenía el pensamiento ¨Sí, esta bien que lo amen y lo apoyen. Háganlo, pero por amor a todo lo valioso lleven a ese pana a un psicólogo¨. Sé de lo que va, sé que trataron de no tener remordimientos de hacer todo en cuanto estaba en sus manos. Pero pienso que debe ser extremadamente duro estar constantemente preocupado o nervioso pensando que en cualquier malentendido tu amigo se suicidará. Es por eso que el hecho de que ellos constantemente tuvieran que estar casi que stalkeando al bato para que no se matará me ponía muy nerviosa. También sé que era súper jovencito y estaba lidiando con mucho, pero además de amistad y amor, el chico necesitaba ayuda profesional, porque sus amigos no estarán para el toda la vida. Llegaría un momento donde el tendría que afrontar solo al mundo y la sociedad, entonces... ¿Luego de tanto luchar de parte sus amigos, igual se suicidaría? No me queda claro.
Honestamente mis personajes menos preferidos fueron Kakeru mismo y Naho, que constantemente me ponían de los nervios. Por otro lado, mis favoritos sin dudas fueron Suwa y Hagita que tenían mucho sentido común y no eran tan emocionales al momento de actuar.
Esta lectura me reto en muchos aspecto, porque me hizo sentir molesta y con ganas de golpear a Naho y Kakeru, pero me sobrepuse y trate con todas mis fuerzas de ponerme desde sus posiciones para ver como veían ellos las cosas, y creo que me funcionó, aunque no me quita que igual me enojarán muchas veces.

The mental illness it's portrayed in a really good way, like, it felt real. And the friendship was so pure and wonderful, and my heart is so happy <3

Wow ce tome était riche en émotion. Je n'en pouvais plus de ce suspens. J'ai trouvé ce tome différent des autres, mais c'est surement car on voit le jour fatidique et on a notamment un chapitre avec le point de vue de Kakeru et j'ai trouvé ça très intéressant car en plus on avait un flash-back de tout ce qui s'est passé depuis le premier tome. Bref encore une fois un très très bon tome (j'ai même loupé le début de mon cours pour pouvoir le finir oupsss).
