Runaway Omega is not the typical omegaverse book for me. It has very little spice and feels more like a thriller. I still enjoyed it but definitely check your TW in advance. This book deals with domestic violence and trauma.

In this world Omegas are property of their Alphas. Everleigh, FMC, is desperate to escape the nightmare that is her life. With the help of the Ashe pack, she is able to escape, but are these alphas any better? The Ashe pack, MMCs, are self made billionaires. They are trying to help this traumatize Omega in any way they can.

This was a really heavy book. It takes a hard look at the trauma of domestic violence and sex trafficking. It is still a really compelling story and romance.

Broken Omega

I struggled a bit with this broken omega story, but it has lots of potential. The concept was really great, but the execution was a bit lacking. There were a lot of repetitive lines (like the character restating something they already said on the page prior), the constant ‘I’m leaving’ ‘I’m not staying’ from the FMC. It got really annoying after the first dozen or so times she said it. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the spicy scenes. It’s like the author tried to provide as much detail as possible, but was seriously lacking the sizzle.

Not entirely sure I recommend this, as it’s really long and definitely a time commitment for a story I didn’t really get much out of.

Really enjoyed and appreciated the time spent growing trust and connection. Liked that supporting characters like Hali, Nancy, and Della were fairly whole people.

Did think it was a bit long and slow; that may have detracted from the moments that really hit

But overall very good and satisfying and will look for more by this author
