I devoured this novel in 12 hours. It’s the EK effect, you know?
The Dixon Rule was full of banter, chemistry, and humor. Oh, and spice… HELLA spice!
The side characters in this one were *chef’s kiss* - the briar crew, the apartment’s community, the lead up to Beck & Will, heyo!!!!
As easily as I devoured this book, I only rated it 3.75 stars because:
•At some points it felt like we got a little too lost in the sauce… aka, the plot got lost and all we focused on was the spice. It was hot, don’t get me wrong, but, I think this could’ve been written better plot wise.
•The last 20% of this book got DEEP. No spoilers, but we took a hard left. I mean context clues, we knew something was coming in Lindley’s world, but we went from 0-60. Toss in the final Diana incident and everything just went real dark, real quick… like totally different vibes.
That being said, I was still fully immersed. EK still evoked all the emotions from me. And, I will absolutely start devouring The Charlie Method first thing tomorrow!

uhm, yeah. I ALREADY FORGOT THE NAMES OMFG. elle kennedy (is that the name idk hahhahah) writes the male pov always SOOOOO LUSTFUL i hate it, like i want to read about a man who YEARNS and that doesnt compare his exes body w the one of his fake gf. also him saying that hes never been a fuckboy and her switching up so fast isnt it. i really liked the friends w bennefits application form tho, i think i might use something like that in the future💀
